A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is used to e-sign your Form 2290 return and can be any five digits of your choice. Once you complete your Form 2290 return, you must e-sign the return before transmitting it to the IRS. You can enter any five digits as your PIN to e-sign the return. You must not enter all five digits as zeros. (Eg. 00000)
