Form 2290 Form 8849 Amendments

No, you can not use your Social Security Number (SSN) to file Form 2290. The IRS requires an Employer Identification Number (EIN) to complete your Form 2290 filing. You can apply for an EIN with the IRS online; however, it does take 10-15 days for your EINs to become active in the IRS system. If you don't have time to deal with the IRS directly, our sister product, TSNAmerica can get an EIN for you! Call them at (803)386-0320, and they will apply for your EIN on your behalf over the phone.

ExpressTruckTax has a dedicated 100% US-based bilingual support team available via phone, email, or live chat to answer all of your road tax 2290 questions.
